Stella White with the Ashley Wey Trio

Stella White is an 17-year-old outstanding up-and-coming jazz vocalist in Victoria. Drawing inspiration from Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday, Stella brings a soulful flavour to the standards we know and love. As well as performing jazz, she is a part of the West Coast Soul Collective and sings R&B and soul music. Performing with the Ashley Wey trio featuring Louis Rudner on bass and Hans Verhoeven on drums, the quartet will be swingin' the night away on March 30th. Stella breathes optimism into the mic with her lyricism and witty delivery, heavily endorsing love and pushing peace through her music. Ashley reigns with a mission to impact people through her transparent stories and vulnerable truths. The quartet and their love of contemporary jazz are all incredibly gifted and versatile players who combine a deep love of melody with their own brand of spirited and adventurous lyricism.
