Intimate Acoustics: Frances Hope

Frances Hope is a singer-songwriter, alternative pop artist, poet, multi-instrumentalist, and content creator from Victoria, BC. Her music is inspired by Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Taylor Swift, Lizzy McAlpine, Lana Del Ray, Florence and the Machine, Fleurie, & Brandi Carlile. She shines a light on universal themes of vulnerability, mental health and healing, as they have become her raison d'être. She has played at the Dragon Boat Festival, Cameron Bandshell, Hermann’s Jazz Club, TD Music Play the Park Series, Le Baiser Salé (Paris), The Hard Swallow (New York City) & other local and international venues. She was selected for the prestigious City of Victoria 2024/25 Musicians Roster. Her music has been in rotation on CFUV, CKUA, CILU LU, WFLU-DB, Indie 101.5, CHRW, and Maritime Radio in Canada, the US, and the UK. She has been featured in blogs, magazines, and news journals, including Tinnitist, Canadian Beats, Cashbox Canada, and Record World International (the second longest running music media outlet in the USA).
