Come be listened to! What’s on your heart? In your thoughts? Taking up bandwidth? What can’t you say to those around you that you really need to share?
Sidewalk Talk is a community listening project supported by the Victoria Downtown Residents Association and Business for Humans. We are a group of volunteers who practice heart-centered listening in public spaces. Our goal is to create a connected society, promote a sense of belonging and human connection, and to build community through listening. We practice listening to experience the power of connection, and to promote feelings of being seen and heard.
We will be listening at the southeast corner of Douglas Street and Fort Street from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Show up at any time in this range that works for you. One of our volunteers will sit with you and listen for around 10 minutes, during which you can share whatever is on your mind or in your heart.
