Century Celebration Community Festival 11 am – 4 pm at Oak Bay Recreation Centre Mainstage: Diane Pancel The multi-award-winning recording artist and international cabaret star is best known for her LA-based Ladies of Hollywood, Ladies of Song, and American Songbook cabaret hits. (11:10 am – noon) The Lateshift Band An energetic group performing the most requested 50’s, 60’s and beyond, and featuring Stephanie, Mario, Alan, Steve and Dave and soundman extraordinaire Dave O. (12:35 – 1:30 pm) JaimesonRhy Jaimey Hamilton and Rhyley Bremner combine powerhouse vocals and angelic harmonies with a youthful spin on 90’s Country. (1:45 – 2:45 pm) Luke Lampard The local singer/songwriter and his band have been growing in popularity steadily over the last year, opening the Saanich Fair in 2024 and looking forward to taking the stage at Sunfest 2025. (3 – 4 pm) Oak Bay Recreation Centre (Indoor Ice): • Free Public Skating (11:00 am – 4:00 pm, skate rentals available) CAN-Ice Synthetic Rink (Upper Parking Lot): • Free Public Skating (11:00 am – 4:00 pm, participants must bring their own skates, helmets are recommended) Ball Hockey Rinks (Lower Parking Lot): • Free Try-It Hockeyball (11:00am – 4:00pm, open to the public, no equipment required) • Try Your Skills (i.e. shoot at targets) and fun games (11:00am – 4:00pm, open to the public, no equipment required) Victoria Cougars Memorabilia and Helen Edwards Books: • View Victoria Cougars memorabilia and history from the past century at the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame and BC Sports Hall of Fame tent. • Victoria’s very own Author Helen Edwards will be on site with her many books for sale including “The History of Professional Hockey in Victoria B.C.” View the Stanley Cup: • Hockey’s most famous trophy will be on display (noon – 4:00 pm, photo opportunities for the public available) 4 pm onwards: NHL alumni share hockey stories during a special Hot Stove at the Penny Farthing Pub.
