WHEN AND WHERE IS THE VICTORIA FILM FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE? The 2025 Victoria Film Festival is set for February 7th-16th and takes place in theatres across Downtown Victoria with the Vic Theatre being a constant. ARE THE VENUES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE? Most venues are indeed wheelchair accessible. To ensure a smooth experience, give us a ring in advance to confirm accessibility for the specific theatre and screening you’re eyeing. TICKETING POLICY: ● All tickets and products are final sale and are non-refundable. No exchanges. Non-Transferable. Hey, I am serious. ● No need to worry; cancelled films will be refunded via the original method of payment. ● VFF 2025 tickets will be available for online purchase, in person (question of availability), via phone orders, or Will Call. ● Sales will cease on February 16th, 2025 at 10 pm. ● Every ticket holder needs to have a membership unless otherwise specified. ● All transactions will incur a $3 service fee + GST. ● Camera, audio, and video recording equipment is prohibited. Please, baby, behave yourself. HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS? Tickets can be bought either in person at our designated Box Office or conveniently purchased online, well in advance, via www.victoriafilmfestival.com. CAN I RESERVE SEATS IN ADVANCE? Seats cannot be reserved in advance except for wheelchair accessibility. Our doors open 30 minutes before the showtime, so the earlier you arrive, the better chance you have to choose your seats! WHAT ARE THE ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT? We accept payments via debit, credit, and cash. ARE THERE DIFFERENT TICKET OPTIONS AVAILABLE? Absolutely! CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR INDIVIDUAL SCREENINGS, OR DO I NEED A PASS? Yes, indeed! Individual screening tickets are up for grabs. However, if you’re planning a movie marathon of five or six films (or more), it might be wise to consider our passes. HOW TO REDEEM A 5 OR 10 FILM COUPON PACK? To utilize your coupon codes, follow these simple steps: Access your account and log in. In case you don’t have one, create your account here. Navigate to the Victoria Film Festival web page. Select your desired film(s) and add them to your cart. Once in your cart: Access Coupons: Your coupons should be readily available for immediate use. If not visible, follow these steps: – Option 1: Click on the available coupons. – Option 2: If the coupons are not visible, manually enter each code from the email you received upon purchasing the film pack into the Coupon Code box. Then, click Apply Coupon. Coupon Application: Each successfully applied code will automatically adjust the price of one ticket item in your cart to zero. Please keep in mind: – Coupon Validity: Coupons are valid for one year from the purchase date. – Usage Limitations: Coupons are applicable only for regular screenings and are not valid for special events or redeemable for cash value. We’ll have a limited supply of foldable program guides for VFF 2025 stationed outside the general office on 1215 Blanshard St, as well as nestled in Serious Coffee shops across Vancouver Island and scattered about various other locales in the city of Victoria. Find more information here. WHY DO I NEED A MEMBERSHIP? In order to watch unclassified movies in BC, Consumer Protection BC requires attendees to be members of the film society screening the movie. Memberships are only $2 and can be renewed every August 1st. For more information about our memberships, please VISIT THIS PAGE. WHERE CAN I BUY A MEMBERSHIP? Memberships are available at checkout when purchasing your tickets online or can be bought in person at the designated box office. HOW LONG IS THE MEMBERSHIP VALID FOR? Your membership is valid until August 1st. This membership will also be applicable to non-rated films playing at The Vic Theatre.
