Trouble on the Ourskirts:
Trouble on the Outskirts began in the thralls of a smokey jazz club in downtown Victoria BC. The initial duo of guitarist (Max Mackrill) and drummer (Michael Tessier) began crafting songs by pulling inspiration from the likes of Sam Fender, Arkells and The Killers.
They were soon joined by local talent including: bassist (Jared Sundberg) and keyboardist (Erik Evans), quickly expanding to establish their own unique sound. They lovingly called this identity “Twang Rock”.
