Jackson Walker, Zuva & Izzy, Ben Mason, Charis Tazumi

Jackson Walker is a songwriter from Victoria BC. Last Fall he released his debut album “Dear October”, recorded entirely within his friend Kai’s bedroom. His inspirations are primarily folk music and indie rock music. Zuva & Izzy are from Victoria BC, and have been playing music together for the past couple of years. They are both singer-songwriters with indie folk and alternative influences. They will be joined by Declan McLennan on drums! Ben Mason is a songwriter from Vancouver Island whose inspirations are constantly shifting but whose foundations lie in folk and punk. Charis Tazumi is an independent singer-songwriter based out of Victoria B.C, who shares her most heartfelt thoughts through wistful instrumentations and compelling lyricism. In May 2024, she released her debut album “In Subtle Ways”, recorded and created with friends and musicians in Victoria. The album captures the subtle yet transformative moments of her life, weaving in narratives of delightful over imagination, the sweetness of starting a life with someone, and the feeling of finally waking up. While Charis is inspired by various genres such as folk, pop, indie, and alternative, the through line is Charis’ authenticity as a songwriter and the ethereal and compelling nature of her melodies.
