Come early, we start at 6:30pm. By donation! We are excited to be part of Spiral Cafe's Friday night series! Let us sing you into to the darkest season and celebrate the coming of the new year! Balkan Babes: began in Victoria in 1999 as a community of women learning and sharing acapella folk music from various regions of the Balkans. Five members going strong today, sharing 'one voice' after decades of singing together for a variety of audiences. Nova Drom: meaning New Road, in Slavic and Romani, is a musical adventure which interweaves Balkan culture, Romani sound and a West Coast vibe. We'll share the evening, and share some songs!
