Join our collaborative run with UVIC Hands for Humanity x UVIC Run Club to raise awareness for the UXO crisis in Southeast Asia. Featuring a 5K Fun Run, 10K Endurance Competition, and BBQ afterwards on top of PKOLS with prizes for the winners. Dress code is blue, red, and white (the colours of the Lao flag) if you have them! All ages and all skill levels welcome. Please note this is a casual event put on for the community and participants will not be given bibs or race packages. We recommend a $10 donation via e-transfer to uvichandsforhumanity@gmail.com - these funds go directly to supporting educational reforms in Laos which minimize child casualties from UXO.
