Highballathon is back. We’re going beyond the limits of human consciousness. Reaching into the deepest self. Redefining the definition of bouldering competitions by pushing the sport to new heights. Literally. Experience Calm Serenity and Reflection as you fall in a bouldering competition like no other. On November 22nd and 23rd come and crush problems from V0 to Vwhoevenknows for the chance to win serious street cred and some sweet prizes from a baller list of sponsors. A scramble format qualifier with 5 zones and 34 problems to solve will run in heats all day Friday and Saturday morning with finals going down Saturday evening. We’ll be wrapping things up with some sweet tunes, pizza, and a brew or two with cheers to participants and their valiant sends. The scramble and finals will include highball boulder problems that go up to 25’ off the ground. Don’t worry too much about the falls, we’re bringing in a big air mat to catch you, like the kind they use for pole vaulters. You do not have to climb the big problems or take the big falls. Ages 12+ Categories There’s something for everyone with 3 categories and prizes for the top 3 in each. You’ll have to choose your category when you sign up but we may take the liberty of switching your category if we know you climb harder. Coffee will be available for $2 a cup (cash only) during the morning heat to keep our climbers buzzing up the problems! Finals Bodies will fly through space. Hands will reach for holds beyond. Come in and cheer our Open category finalists as they compete for the glory beyond on Saturday from 5pm onwards.
