Welcome to Whisky Folk’s flagship series of events. Discover brand-new whiskies and the occasional old favourite with a room full of friendly faces. Featuring Single Malt Scotch, Japanese whiskies, local whiskies, Irish whiskeys, Bourbons, and many more styles. You never know what you’re going to taste – so prepare to be surprised. Every event will see 8 whiskies being showcased – some that recently arrived on the shelves at The Strath, and some which will launch at the tasting. Whisky Folk aims to be the most accessible, inclusive, and approachable whisky appreciation club around. Both seasoned whisky nerds and complete newbies are welcome, and wherever you are on your whisky journey, we’d love to travel alongside you. For anyone interested in attending without tasting the whiskies (either with a friend who is coming to taste, or simply as a whisky-curious non-drinker), please send Adam and email at adam@thestrath.ca to request a non-drinking spot. The $45 ticket includes the eight whiskies. Strath Premium members can save $10 on each ticket they purchase for this event. Doors open at 6:30. If you have any special seating requests, please leave a note at checkout or email adam@thestrath.ca
