Event description

Hello all! Dykes Nation will be hosting an open mic night this Monday, April 14th 6:30-8:00 P.M. at Camas Books and Infoshop! We are planning for a night of dyke-aligned writers sharing their work to other dykes and allies! There will be snacks, pauses for conversation, and a supportive literary environment for all. RSVP with your piece beforehand through our link-in-bio so we can add you to the line-up! We ask for readings to be works of poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, essay, spoken word, etc. and to fall within some intersection of feminist/queer/anarchist themes. We also ask you to keep each piece under 5 minutes to allow the most possible pieces! If you would like to read more than once, the combined length of the pieces must not exceed 8 minutes. There will be a portion of the event open to any audience members who would like to read- the form is for those who would like to secure their spots! We can’t wait to see you there! Message organizer @elnewelll with any questions!
