Destroyed Cinema presents: Movie Night at Colage

The inaugural Destroyed Movie Night is in collaboration with our sweet friends at @colagemarket on April 16th 2025. The Destroyed Secret Cinema is a movie-only screening series of underground, cult, experimental and/or otherwise off-kilter cinema you’d rarely, if ever, see elsewhere. The film is a secret, but what we will tell you is we intended to do this on 4/20, it’s directed by one of the most important and name-dropped, yet largely underseen, multi-hyphenates in cinema history, and shares a few of the minds behind Easy Rider. If you ask politely, we might just let it slip. We’ll also have some zines and snacks for sale. A couple short films will preceed the feature. This event is 19+. Thanks a million to Will and Rayo for their good grace, open-hearts and minds, and for this marvellous space to let Nick and I’s vie for an underground movie scene in Victoria come to fruition. April 16th 2025 / 550 Yates St / 7-10pm / 15 seats / $7 / 19+ / Tickets available via DM, E-Transfer, Eventbrite, or cash at the door if you let us know in advance. It’s a small space, so tickets are extremely limited and first-come-first-serve. CW: this is an R rated film, although 14a in Canada, that features heavy drug-use and mild nudity.
