Event description

In honour of Earth Day 2025, Oak Bay United Church is hosting an all-ages community art & storytelling event, featuring author Robert “Lucky” Budd. The event will begin at 2 pm (doors at 1:45 pm), with Budd telling the traditional Northwest Coast legend Orca Chief in the sanctuary. Afterwards, all are invited to the downstairs Community Hall for hands-on art activities for all ages. Light refreshments will be available. Admission by donation: suggested minimum donation $5 per person on $10 for a family (no one will be turned away for lack of funds) Entry to the Oak Bay United Church Sanctuary is via Granite St. Accessibility: for those with limited mobility, the OBUC Sanctuary can be reached by an accessibility lift, located off Granite Street, just east of the main entrance ramp.
