Children of Gaza Quilt Exhibition & Fundraiser Bazaar

You are warmly invited to join us Sun Mar 30th, 3-6pm, at Fernwood Community Centre for THE CHILDREN OF GAZA TOURING QUILT EXHIBITION & FUNDRAISER BAZAAR. This will be an opportunity to honour & at the same time support the children of Gaza. We will be hosting the touring “Children of Gaza Memory Quilt Exhibition” from Germany and there will be live musicians, gently used adult and children's clothing, baked goods, other sale items, and door prizes. We will have donation jars at the entrance and in front of the musicians. If you’d like to contribute sale items, we are accepting good quality, gently used children and adult clothing, Sun Mar 30th from 1-3pm at Fernwood Community Centre, 1240 Gladstone Ave. If you would like to donate baking or door prizes, or know an organization, church, or business who might like to, please message marylloydyyj@gmail.com. These items can also be dropped off at the venue between 1-3pm on the day of the event. Thanks to Anne Schaefer, Q Brooke Bachand, Fiddling Finn, & Paterson for contributing their musical talents to help raise funds. These wonderful musicians will be playing individually and together at various times and throughout the event. All donations and sale proceeds go directly to Madleen Kolab from Gaza City, Gaza's only Fisherwoman. Local Victoria residents have been sending Madleen funds to buy food and other necessary items for her family and her neighbours since their forced displacement from Northern Gaza .
